The Marshlands.
Not the friendliest place in the world, even without Vampires and Lycans roaming it. The place was full of quick sand and mud puddles. Easily a place you could find your death in. But because of the tall grass and the bamboo, it provided perfect cover for the Malkavian who did not want to be found, by anyone. Nikki liked to think she knew this wasteland by now, where to step, where not to step and so on. Though she knew it took just one distraction and she could be falling into the quicksand. Which was never a good piece of the cake, no matter which way you sliced it. Then again, it wasnt as though Nikki had a good piece of the cake, ever since leaving home she hadnt exactly had the best of luck. Squatting in homes that didnt belong to her while the occupiers were out, stealing fruit and seeds off the stalls in the Market. Not a high class life, but at least she was alive, she should be thankful of that, right?
She could almost remember the loving arms of her mother, almost and then Kallie had to set their father on fire and soon things turned sour, to a point of Nikki having to flee, as though in fear she would be accused of being a witch and being burned on a stake. The sloggy ground beneath Nikki's feet made an awful squelching noise, and the smell of the air around the wasteland wasnt much better, but deep within the center was home. A small little cave where Kallie and Nikki spent their nights. It wasnt much, but it was shelter at least.
Rain.
The worst thing that could have happened. Within seconds, the mud turned to slush and began to shift beneath her. Nikki knew this place wasnt safe, and it became even less safe when it rained. The mud discuised everything, including where the quick sand was, not only that, but because, even when wet, the mud was so thick it dragged you under anyway, acting like quicksand, it got you stuck and began to move you. Nikki could already feel herself slipping, and her heart beat increased as she felt fear well up inside of her. If calm, she could have used her power to move the mud from around her, but Nikki couldnt control her power unless angry, and even less so when she was scared, so really, she was a rat caught in a cage. Hey, least the stall owners would be happy, no more fruit being stolen.
As she got caught in the pull, there was nothing she could do. He leg sunk further in and she knew she had hit quicksand. Cursing, she struggled, only making the grip worse, and soon her other leg fell hostage to the quicksand and Nikki could feel her fear rising as she sunk lower and lower, until the sand was upto her waist. This was not how she envisioned her death.

Manchester.
Lord he didn't want to be back here, but here he flaming well was. Robbie had hoped he'd left this life behind him, left the war, escaped it all, but the war wasn't ready to let him bury his head in the sand and forget all his troubles, no for some innane reason he was needed. Grumbling under his breath Robbie was beginning to regret not boarding a cosy train and gaining access to inner Manchester that way, but then he would have been spotted far easier. Instead of lazing about in moderate comfort trying to ignore the boisterous teens aboard the train, the non-stop chatter and the constant ringing of mobiles, he was picking his way oh so carefully through a dangerous, make that life threatening, marshland with the sights and sounds of peaceful nature all about him. It had lulled him into a false sense of security at first, but then all the memories had come crashing back as the quicksand had greedily began sucking at his trainer. Hurriedly unlacing it he'd watched with a rueful shake of the head as it had gradually disappeared from sight. "Luckily I didn't panic," he murmured to himself silently berating himself for having forgotten the perils of the marshes, several times he'd nearly been swallowed whole by the remorseless beast that was the marsh and he'd watched with a degree of satisfaction when he'd tricked an inexperienced lone Lycan into it the one time; definitely not a nice way to die, he'd cooly finished the beast off with a silver bullet to the forehead to end it's misery, and stop it's howls for back-up too.
Becoming more alert he began picking his way through striving to remember the old pathways through; one slight hitch being that the marsh was dynamic and had changed over time, so even if he had been able to remember it would have done him no good. Robbie had to rely upon reading the tell tale signs and bank on a lot of luck.
The heavens opened and heavy droplets splashed about Robbie worsening the already difficult conditions, "well I'll be buggered," he muttered gazing up at the heavens but refraining from a shaking a fist and rather redoubling his concentration to make sure he didn't put a foot wrong. Picking his way through Robbie saw the trapped girl before he heard her, which was very surprising indeed, if he'd been thus engulfed he'd have been screaming out for help, yet she remained outwardly calm; for now. His hand had instantly strayed to the Beretta in his inside pocket, but now he visibly relaxed, she could hardly be a danger to him stuck as she was, unless it was all just a cunning ploy, he'd been tricked far too many times to just believe she truly was stuck, Robbie had learnt to take everything anyone said with a pinch of salt and to not believe anything his eyes told him either. So it was with due caution that he moved into her line of sight, being incredibly careful not to get stuck himself.
"Looks like you're in a bit of trouble there," Robbie called his Scottish tones ringing out though his face remained carefully expressionless, he studied her shrewdly as his eyes roved about the scene, seeing that she had no means of escape. At first glance it would seem that he wasn't lifting a finger to help, but he wasn't nearly so unkind as he was already focusing his mind upon hauling her out, he'd considered trying to reach out and pull her out that way, but he decided against such a move that wouldn't have falunted his ability to a complete stranger for his muscles were unlikely to be up to the task of hauling her free and she was likely out of reach anyway, crouching as close as he dared go Robbie's eyes connected with the girl's as he honed his mind completely upon the task at hand. It took a lot of effort due to the strong tug of the quicksand, the concentration upon his face was plain as he muttered, "just stay calm...I'll have you out in a tick." It was proving more difficult than he had first anticipated though and already he was feeling physically drained from the effort of using his power, as his hands bunched into fists at his side he strove with one last effort and the young lady before him was dragged clear of the quicksand, flying skywards momentarily as the suddenness of the quicksand relinquishing it's slimy grip upon her took him by surprise which sent her flying awkwardly upon a large, mossy rock by the side of what otherwise would have been her tomb, a good exchange Robbie decided. "Woah," he cried, "sorry about that," the Scotsman said in heavily accented English as he sprang agily to her side. "Clearly I don't know my own strength," he joked proffering a hand to help her up, "you're not hurt?" He asked with a smile now wondering what she had been doing in the marsh in the first place, just as she would be wondering what he was up to as well, better to not ask questions to satisfy his curiosity or else she'd expect answers from questions she would doubtless be asking him; like how the hell did he pull her from quicksand by just looking at her? He'd only just back to Manchester and already he was digging himself a hole and was being embroilled in strange goings on...he'd never escape.

Nikki was trying to think of a way to free herself as she slowly sunk lower into the sand. Though the blonde couldnt think as all her mind was on Kallie, what would she do if Nikki never returned? Nik had to survive, she had to get out of this somehow for her sisters sake. Kallie wouldnt be able to survive alone, she was too young. Yet what good was Nik proving to be, luring her from one danger to another. The two children had been disowned by thier family, and their family had told friends Nikki and Kallie had died in an accident they cleverly staged then had a fake burial with fake graves.
Dont you just love parents?
Nikki was scared, but if she panicked, it would only cause her to sink faster, the quicksand was eating her, yet due to Nik staying completley still, she wasnt sinking fast anymore, a millimetre a minute she suspected. Which when weighed, wasnt a great deal of time, but it was a lot more than what she would have been granted if she struggled. "Okay Nikki, think." She told herself, "Stay calm, try to prise yourself out." Closing her eyes, she tried her power and instantly regretted it, though she moved the sand away from her, it caused her to slip a couple of centremetres further in, realising that was a bad idea, she didnt try it again. How sometimes Nikki wished she had learnt to control this power, then maybe she would have been able to save herself. Or even if Kallie was here to heat the sand up and make it dry so she could clamber out, but Kallie was deep in the marsh, safe inside the cave, and Nikki was on her own.
Or so she thought.
Opening her eyes as she heard a voice, seeing a man stood infront of her Nikki instantly panicked. Being around others was not something she was used to, and strangers? Nikki didnt like strangers. "Who are you?" She demanded, though the girls voice dripped in fear, not out of being sucked slowly underground, but because of the man stood infront of her who was seemingly being no help. She tried to move and began to sink lower in, she wasnt trying to move closer to the man, but further away and this was noticeable too. It was only natural Nikki didnt trust anyone anymore, she had been through a lot and was still young, she hadnt grown to be able to trust yet, and some how, Nikki didnt think she would any time soon. She listened to the scots man and realised if she wanted to survive this, she had to listen to him, even if she didnt trust him, afterall, she was already upto her chest and the sand was constricting her, making it extreamly difficult to breathe. Nikki closed her eyes and began to think of calming things, it always helped. She thought of Kallie and herself in the park when they were younger on a summers afternoon, Nikki swinging Kallie on the swings, then running around after one another without a seconds thought, or a care in the world.
A tug. A violent tug.
Nikki's eyes swung open, she found herself no longer in the quicksand but flying through the air, soon coming down quite fast as her back collided with a rock, a sharp crack was heard. Luckily the rock was covered in quite a bit of moss so it was softer. She doubted she had broken anything, but she was sure as hell there would be one major bruise there. Nikki didnt say anything to the man when he came back to her side, nor did she take his hand when he offered it her. She stood up and automatically jumped away from him, her eyes narrowing in suspision and becoming rather defensive and wary. She shook her head slowly when he asked if she was hurt. Nikki knew she had never seen him around before, and that was instantly cause for distrust, even though he had saved her life. She also knew, him, like her, was Telekenetic. One thing in common, but it didnt mean he didnt want to use her for his own ends. Nikki knew about the war, and had no intention on joining it, putting her life and her sisters in danger for something that would never end. Though, realising she was being rude, she muttered quietly, and still fearful and wary, "Thankyou." However, if he made advances towards her, Nik would back off. It was clear she didnt trust people, but part of her hoped he wouldnt take it offensivly.

Moving and lifting people was always difficult, and tiring, dragging them from sucking quicksand was frankly exhausting so his look became slightly haggard as he looked over at the girl, she seemed still as frightened even now she was clear of the quicksand which puzzled Robbie until he came to the obvious conclusion; that she didn't trust him. Saving her life clearly wasn't enough, but he was nowhere near trusting her either, all he needed to know was that she was unhurt and then his concience was clear and he could move on. Sure he was curious, but he was curious about a lot of things and knew he'd never receive any answers so what was a few more things that he didn't know?
"Honestly I don't mean you any harm...me saying that won't make things any better I know but what else am I supposed to say?" He smirked a little trying to encourage her to relax just a little, he didn't need her to lower her guard at all it just looked like she probably should lower it around people a bit more, there was not trusting people and then there was pure paranoia. He should know, he'd been through it, not that he was stupid enough to believe he'd experienced anything she had or vice versa.
He knew she'd asked from the outset who he was, but he had no reason to tell her, the less she knew about him the better, and from her defensive posture and plain awkwardness he guessed she didn't want him prying either. Which suited the Scot perfectly, his business was own and hers was private too.
Faintly surprised as she thanked him Robbie smiled, "not a problem, don't mention it." He laughed, "I mean it, don't mention it to anyone." There was not the slightest threat in his voice only complete and unnerving seriousness. "Well I'm guessing you've places to be, and so have I...you never know, I might see you around. Maybe next time you'll be saving me?" He laughed and with a smile upon his lips he nodded his head to bid her farewell moving to walk past the girl, of course choosing his path carefully, he began to walk off, secretly glad to be away. Robbie didn't realise that he was heading directly for where she wouldn't want him going; towards the cave where her beloved sister was in hiding, if only he'd taken a different route the pair might never have spoken again...as it was she would now be forced to act.

The only thing that Nikki knew for sure was he was a freak, like Nikki herself and Kallie. True, there was nothing they could do about it but Nikki couldnt help feeling she was being punished for something. Though what, she wasnt sure. Her stance was defensive as she looked at the guy, her eyes slightly narrowed and ready if he tried anything. But upon hearing his next statement, she relaxed a little. Enough, but only a little. Nikki had to think about Kallie afterall, if anything happened to Nikki, Kallie wouldnt survive and they didnt have anybody who would look after her if Nikki did die.
"You could start by telling me who you are," Nikki retaliated, "Im not bothered if its a fake name or just your first." Nikki was being cautious and she wanted to be able to call this guy by something over then, 'the-guy-who-saved-me-from-dying-using-telekenisis' or 'tgwsmfdut' for short. Not that it made much sense though. She kept her distance from the guy, not that she could do much anyway, he would use his telekenesis on her if he wanted.
They lived in a whole new world now, a new place with a badass attitude and Nikki had to match the aggressivness that this world showed them. She didnt like being like this, but it was the only way to guarentee their safety. Safety first.
"What would I say exactly?" Nikki snipped, "A guy saved me from sinking into the ground using his...?" Way to run your mouth Nik. Taking a deep breath, she hadnt meant to go quite as far as that, or word it like that but hopefully he wouldnt notice. "Maybe I will but lets hope there is not a next time." Nikki went to walk in the direction he was heading. Watching him for a moment she realised he was heading in the direction of the cave, and of Kallie! "No." She mumbled.
Running through the Marshland, trying to remain quiet and watch her feet, but the bog was too much for her and she stumbled a good few times. Eventually falling over, he was going to get to Kallie and there was nothing she could do about it. She began to panic, fear and annoyance rose inside her, watching as he got closer and closer to the cave, Nikki jumped up and yelled, "No!" Throwing her arm out, though not meaning for what happened next.
With a crack, he was soaring through the air. Nikki had not meant for that, in fact she had not even meant to use her power she had simply lost control, but if she didnt do something, he would land on a jutted rock which would cause some serious damage. Having to act quick she moved him, rather juttedly from the line of the rock and instead he landed comfortably on a stack of moss covered hay. Her eyes widening, Nikki turned and began to run towards the cave, she needed to get Kallie away before something bad was going to happen. Now it was clear she was protecting something in this Marshland.
((Sorry it sucks))

To divulge his name or not?
That seemed to be a question frequently spinning about his head, for his real name was dangerous; the associations that came up with it when people could make the link to his grandfather, not that he'd ever met the man personally but he'd have a heck of a lot of explaining to do if they ever where to encounter each other, but he knew of him, everyone involved in the war knew of Mr Harold Veldon's reputation, and it was by no means a pleasant one. Course that probably wouldn't stop him from giving him a wallop about the chops, he'd been known to do far rasher things. Deciding his first name couldn't hurt...well not much, he smirked, "ok I'll give ye mine if you give me yours? I'm Robbie...and that's all you'll get outta me." Seeing her frustration and continued defensiveness Robbie couldn't help but smirk, had he been this paranoid at one time? Quite probably but Robbie had a carefree attitude, he didn't have nearly the same responsibility as this girl. His eyebrows raised fractionately as she muttered sarcastically, "yes? You were going to say?" He prompted with a laugh, "I know you know more than you're letting on...but as they say; curiosity killed the cat, so I'm gunna stay outta yur business, and yur gonna stay outta mine too, s'only fair." He really didn't want her spreading the news that a guy called Robbie had pulled her from quicksand, because if the wrong ears heard that information he'd be in all sorts of trouble.
"Yeh let's hope not," he agreed, "though I wouldn't mind seeing yur pretty face again." The compliment slipped out quite naturally he didn't see why people got so het up concerning their looks or got so embarrassed by receiving a compliment when it was deserved, though he was being slightly hipocritical as whenever he was complimented he tended to blush crimson, thankfully he wasn't complimented very often though.
With a nod he was gone, carefully but quickly picking his way through the marshland, jumping over a patch of quicksand with the power of his mind to boost him along a little; he'd never have bridged the gap otherwise. As his shoeless right foot trod on a rock he winced in pain but before he could even begin hobbling he was jolted violently into the air, as his right hand instinctively went for his gun his mind began the process of defending itself, but before he could fully react he was wizzing haphazardly through the air; this person clearly didn't know what they were doing, nowhere near a smooth flight, he'd have to sue the airlien company. All too quickly a sharp rock came into view, as he was struggling helplessly against the power, a strong power that had the upper hand as he'd been taken entirely unawares. "Woah," he cried as he hurtled towards the rock, but all of a sudden he was jolted to the side of it and dropped from a metre up into the air, mercifully onto coarse, moss covered hay. A far softer landing than what he'd nearly received though the wind was still driven out of him. Groaning he grunted as he rolled onto his back gun drawn and eyes roving about the scene; but there was nobody in sight, he'd half expected that girl as he knew her look of innocence could easily have been a deception, but not even she was in sight. Sighing he flopped back onto the hay his heart beating a mite fast after his near collision with rocks. "Just my luck," he muttered staring up at the dark, cloudy sky as raindrops still fell relentlessly upon him his hair soaked to his forehead by now and his clothes wet through.
Lying there nearly a minute to catch his breath Robbie sat up, finding his landing spot made a relatively comfortable seat, he peered about, whoever had thrown him was powerful with Telekinesis, but they were clearly untrained not even focused as he'd been thrown so haphazardly about, they'd either gotten cold feet before smashing him against the rocks or they truly hadn't been able to control their power. Either way they were dangerous, especially to him as they'd attacked him without warning, from behind, some called it the cowards way but Robbie knew it was plain common sense and good tactics, and who had been behind him? That defensive girl. She was likely the culprit then, remembering the way she'd nearly used the correct terminology for his power it clicked into place and he knew it must have been her, what a way to repay him for saving her life, nearly dashing his skull upon rocks. Robbie was surprised at her, not that he knew her, but she'd seemed nice enough if a little nervy he'd put that to the fact that she'd nearly died, being sucked up by quicksand was enough to put anyone's nerves on edge.
Deciding he'd spent enough time lazing about dwelling upon that stupid girl Robbie hauled himself aloft pocketing his gun he continued along his path; the path that led towards an old cave he'd often used for shelter back in the day, yeh he'd rest there for the night; hidden from the Lycans then go into the city in the early morning to get his business over and done with as quickly as possible.
As the rain fell heavier and the skys darkened blotting out what was left of the afternoon sun Robbie saw the cave up ahead, with the same large boulder across the mouth of it so few knew there was anything back there, in fact it was nigh on impossible to notice, so alike with the surrounding landscape was it, he'd happened upon it entirely by accident but the shelter had proved useful as a hideout after raids on the Lycans for a number of months. Robbie trotted to the underground cavern in haste as he wanted to get out of the heavy downpour before he really was soaked to the very core, but he was surprised to see a small crack, wide enough for a child to easily squeeze through, and maybe even a slim teenager, luckily he could just move the boulder, the exercise would take a little concentration but...wait a second he'd never have left even the tiniest way in which led him to the conclusion that someone else had been using the cave for shelter. It was time to find out who, rolling back his sleeves he summoned up his strength and saw the boulder moving away in his mind's eye a second before it happened in reality. Taking out his gun he called out, "ready or not here I come." Robbie peered into the gloom of the cave and with his Beretta poised he stepped inside, ready for just about anything...except the reality.

Nikki knew the importance of a name all too well. She tried to avoid the conversation she herself was drawing up, but she wanted to know the name of the guy who saved her life. Life is a challenge and sometimes it can seem quite impossible. Heaven knew Nikki often sat up because of it, there was so much, or it felt like there was, on the line for her. If Nikki was completley honest, she didnt care for her own life, it was her sisters. Nik gave up minding what happened to her, as long as she knew her sister was safe, then that was fine by her. Nikki looked up at him as he spoke. Giving a small nod of her head to show if he said his, she would say hers. "Im Nikki, and the same goes." Nikki looked away rather shocked at herself for letting herself slip like that. What an idiot. "I dont want to be in your business anyway, so you needn't worry."
Nikki tried to glare at him when he gave her the compliment. Like sweetalk would work, though she found herself blushing, raising a hand to her cheeks she could feel the warmth and her brow furrowed in confusion. "Well I suppose the Mystery of you only increases your popularity," and Nikki loved a good Mystery, she always had done, plus for someone who was older than she was, he wasnt half a bad looker. But Nikki didnt have time to gawk over guys when her sister was waiting for her.
Nikki had watched him sail through the air and given him a softer landing, but she couldnt stick around and she turned and rushed towards the cave as fast as her legs would allow her. Jumping over marsh, bog, quicksand, getting tangled in the long grass, it was an effort, but soon Nikki had reached the enrance, finding herself cut and bruised, awfully sticky and she was sure her head was bleeding. Though this was nothing, she had to keep going. Running over the hard ground and diving through the hole in the caves entrance, hidden by a rock and moss. The cave sloped downwards, it was damp down here but it was home. When you had been walking for a while you came to a forking, turn right and carry on going, you come to a junction, one which will lead you up towards the Vampire Manor, one towards the Lycans and the other to town. However, if at the first forking, you turn left, it carrys on sloping, right into the middle of the marsh. This was where Nikki and Kallie made thier home. "Kallie!" Nikkie called, coming out of the shadows, Nikki picked up Kallie in a hug, thankful she was alright. "Nikki where have you been? You've been gone hours!" Nikki smoothed Kallie's hair and grabbed her red jacket, putting it around her. "That doesnt matter right now, we have to leave. Now!" Nikki turned to walk but Kallie didnt move, "Kallie what's wrong with you, didnt you hear what I said?" Kallie nodded and asked why. "Someone's coming, I dont know who he is or what he wants. But it cant be good!"
Kallie didnt need telling twice as the two began to run back up to reach the first junction. Though as they did reach it Nikki heard he voice ring out, "Oh no." She mumbled, and panicking it caused their only escape to fall through, mind control lost and that was it. Luckily she regained control before too much damage was done, but now Robbie was inbetween Nikki and her way out. It seemed like an age that she was stood there, but it was Kallie who acted, panicking she sent out a flame, richoeting off the wall and missing Robbie by an inch. "Kallie, No!" Nikki said, pulling her sister behind her, Nikki's eyes narrowing, the flame had caught fire in one of the old lanterns in the wall, this must have been a mine shaft or something earlier in the century. Looking at Robbie, she folded her arms, "What do you want?" She demanded, "You've found us now, congratulations."

Slipping through the widened gap Robbie's eyes were already accustomed to the gloom as darkness was fast descending with the incoming storm beginning to release it's barrage upon the windswept marshes, he really did need shelter for the night. Conditions were utterly trecherous now, and the marsh was dangerous even during a glorious summer's day, let alone a howling gale, accompanied now by what he thought was a far off howl. Course it could have been his vivid, verging on paranoid imagination, having Lycans thrown into the mix of an already difficult situation would just finish his day off nicely.
With his Beretta sweeping the surroundings he stood blocking the entrance cautiously taking a few steps in he lead with his gun as he began to move slowly down the steep descent, he could hear voices and before he knew it a blazing firebolt soared upwards towards him, momentarily blinding him and ever so nearly taking his head off completely. Ducking just in time he thanked God for his quick reflexes as he swore empathitically. Blinking he still held his gun aloft, refusing to fire until he knew what he was shooting at; Nikki. "Tossing me about then throwing fire at me? You sure know how to show a guy a good time," he laughed his eyes showing no signs of amusement, he wanted to know why she kept trying to kill him off, and the answer was right behind her. Eyes widening as he caught a glimpse of the little girl stood definiantly behind what he presumed was her sister he looked to Nikki shaking his head ruefully.
"All I want is shelter for the night," slipping his gun back into its holster he raised his palms into the air in a sign of peace offering something of an explanation, "well I wasna looking for ya, though why you threw me a dozen feet inta the air then dropped me in a nice pile o' hay was a bit of a puzzle, I still wasna goin' ta foller ya...anyways it's all become abundantly clear nah, yur just protecting this little lass, like any...big sister" he prompted hesitantly, "would do." Sure she could be a single mother for all he knew.
With a grin he muttered, "now will ya just let me rest, ye can go out in tha storm if you want to, but I'd rather not get swallowed whole by quicksand." He chuckled moving past the pair deeper into the cave, "now if I remember rightly there was a cozy little nook someplace close. No doubt you've been inhabitating it." He stated turning back to them with a grin, "I ain't gonna do you no harm, so ye can go out there," he gestured vaguely towards the cave entrance, "and get ripped to shreds by Lycans or ye can welcome me to your...humble abode as it were. Your choice, cause I'm staying here."

As Nikki was trying to make her way out of the cave, pulling Kallie along with her, much to the confusement of the young girl who didnt really know what was going on. All Nikki knew was she had to get her sister out of the cave. "Argh," Nikki let off a startled cry and tried to hide around a corner, she caught her arm on a jagged peice of rock which had sunk into her skin and made her arm ooze blood. She took another look around the corner, her eyes drawn to the gun in Robbie's hand, which Kallie had obviously noticed and panicked, sending a shot of fire in Robbie's direction. Kallie had a better grip on her power than Nikki did, but Kallie was more willing to use her power than Nikki. "Kallie! No!" She managed to squeek out as more fire balls flew rang through the air, Illuminating the cave.
"I had no choice! I couldnt let you find her, for all I know you want to hurt us and you're not exactly disproving that fact!" She said through gritted teeth as she clutched onto her arm. It wasnt all that painful, but even Nikki didnt want to bleed everywhere, "I have to protect her, from anyone." She said quietly as she noticed his eyes move toward Kallie, and apparently Kallie had noticed it too as she went further behind Nikki and clutched hold of her sister. "Even if it means killing someone." Of course, Nikki would prefer not to hurt anyone, but if she felt threatened, she wouldnt hesistate to hurt someone.
She watched as he put his gun back into the holster and listened as he spoke, noticing his hands were up, but still her eyes were on the gun and Nikki didnt trust anyone who had a gun. Hell, her father had one too many since he was a security guard among other things. Nikki didnt say anything, she was Kallie's older sister, but in recent years had adopted a more motherly role and it was tiring for her. Nikki didnt know how to control her power and could only use it if she was scared or angry, or felt some other powerful emotion. She had also the power to freeze people, or so she thought as it had happened once before. Though never again.
As much as Nikki hated to admit it, he was right. Going out in this storm was suicide. So, taking her sister she began to walk back to where they had come from. Kallie ran further ahead and lit a fire for the three of them, and Nikki nodded in the direction as though telling him to follow her. Once she had gotten back, Kallie sat infront of the fire, though one thing he had said had peaked her curiosity. "Lycans?" She asked, obviously confused as she had never heard the term before. Obviously, the three of them were stuck with eachother for the night, whether Nikki liked it or not. "Nikki?" Came her sisters voice as she looked to the girl, "Your arm..." Nikki replaced her hand over the wound and smiled, "I'll be fine."
