"I have never, in all my life and believe me its been a bloody long one, experianced such carelessness!" His voice was low, as if daring someone to even think about challenging him. He had come across stupid Lycans before, like those who thought they could overthrow him, but nothing like this. This was even more braindead than a Human, and to Lycans, that was saying something. "Do you lot, have a deathwish?" He continued hounding the younglings who had survived last night's fight. "Well, do you?" He challenged as he beat down hard, "No, but there was only one of them when we attacked!" Demetrius let off a growl, "It doesnt matter if there was one or one bloody hundred! You younglings are far too inexperianced to fight even one Vampire, hence why the rule is, you do not go out without me or an older Lycan." They began to all speak at once, giving Demetrius a rather nasty headache, banging down hard on the table, his silver eyes boring into each one of them he added, "You lot acted irationally, foolishly and carelessly! You broke the rules which have been in place since before you were even thought of, you will be punished for this." He said, "Not only did you risk your own lives, but in going out there you risked ours too! And when you saw Alexandria and Ranvier I thought, even you, would have had the sensibility in you to run. You cant even fend a youngling Vampire, how on earth do you think you would have faired against the Vampire Lord and one of her Generals?" Turning his back on them, he sighed, "Get out of here before I kill you myself."
Once the younglings had scarpered off, with mutterings of, 'yes sir, sorry sir.' Demetrius sank down into a chair and rested his head in his hands. He had picked up some pretty bad injuries himself off Alex, but he had severly wounded the younger girl, which was his intention all along. He knew who she was, and he knew Silas had a strong connection with the girl, hurting her would hurt Silas, and in turn Silas would hurt Ranvier for letting it happen, and blank Alex for doing the same. Basically, they would be down one Vampire General, which was a smart move to play if you think about it.
Truth was, Demetrius was feeling like his Lycans were not upto scratch anymore, most of them were careless or brash. The Lycans seemed to, these days, blood arrogant or powerhungry people which inturn makes them believe with the added strength they are unbeatable when they are not. Demetrius himself was arrogant, and he was powerhungry too, but he was not careless and he didnt for one second believe he was unbeatable, he was a careful person, though coldhearted and cruel, he did look after the wellbeing of his family, whether or not they realised this, Demetrius did care about them and it did affect him when he lost people, whether young, or old. He honestly believed many of them now had a deathwish, though thinking on it, didnt all immortal creatures have a deathwish? The mortal long for eternal life, whereas somewhere inside them, every imortal longs for death. Its true, the saying, you want what you cant have and this was a perfect example.
"Damn those Vampires!" He muttered angrily to himself, "Nothing but bleedin' trouble."

((mind if i join?))
Kelsea stood hidden in shadows near the door, she had been passing by on the way to her room and had heard Lord Demetrius, ranting at the young Lycans. She had an idea, but wasn't sure what her Lord would think of it. Still, she had to give it a shot. It was better than nothing.
Stepping up to the door, she gave it a light tap and awaited for Lord Demetrius' permission to enter. Stepping back, she smoothed her dress and hair, and assumed the look of someone who wanted the best for her people, and someone who needed to talk to the leader.
She knew well that Demetrius was power-hungry and arrogant, but he was also extremely intelligent, and knew when to listen to advice. She just hoped he would listen to hers...

He knew Kelsea had been outside, he wasnt stupid and he could smell her. Well I hope she enjoyed the free show. He thought coldly to himself as he rested his head in his hands, knowing it would be soon when she entered and there was nothing he could do to stop her, even though everyone knew it was a bad idea to even think about approaching him when he was in this kind of mood. "What?"Came his sharp answer to the rasp at the door, ignorant fool, he thought she would know what he was like, at the best of times he was nasty even to his own kind, add the immense annoyed feel and you got one seriously annoyed leader who you shouldnt be around.
Eyes looking at her, showing only anger in them, he was sitting on the chair, with a rather annoyed, yet bored stance as the blonde entered the room. "If you have come to say I'm too hard on the younglings, dont you dare," He warned, showing in his tone he was not interesting in hearing something like that, "All of them are worthless, most members of this clan are worthless and if things dont shape up you'll all wonder what has hit you." Numerous scars littered Demetrius body, and his shirt was ripped, torn and bloodstained from the fight, his lip was busted and his eye was slightly blackened. The beating he had taken to defend the younglings. Idiots, he should kill them himself, save the Vampires the trouble.
"If you dont want something, get lost." He snapped. He was in no mood to be nice to anyone. Though everyone was used to it by now, Demetrius was rarely nice, yet he was respected and looked upto due to his powerful leadership and remarkable strength, matched only by Alexandria's, which was who he had taken the beating off. He would get her back one day, and there would be hell to pay for what she did to him, and his younglings.

Kelsea entered the room, closing the door softly behind her. "My Lord." she greeted with a nod of her head. She listened quietly as Lord Demetrius proceeded to tell her that the young Lycans were worthless. As soon as he was done ranting, she spoke. "My Lord, while I do agree with you, they willl not always be so. It is true that they behaved foolishly and recklessly. But, I do have an idea."
She took a breath and continued. Hopefully Demetruis was in a listening mood today. If not, oh well. She licked her lips, a nervous habit of hers, and spoke. "Lord Demetrius, with your permission I will take any young Lycan who wishes to become a valued asset of our community, and who also does not have a deathwish, under my care, and I will train them personally. I can enlarge my rooms and they will spend their days with me. I will teach them to fight, hunt, and how to prepare for battle. They will learn their enemies strengths and weaknesses as well as their own, and learn to use that to their advantage."
She paused for a second to let everything sink in, then continued. "When I feel that they are ready, I will take them on a scouting mission to get some first hand experience, but I will not allow them to fight until you feel they are ready. Any, who disobeys or behaves foolishly and recklessly, I will take full responsibility for."
She paused again to think of her next words. "I do believe Lord Demetrius that with the proper training, they will learn to heed orders and to not put their lives, or those of their people in danger. Unless of course they're just complete idiots."

The strong voice of Demetrius echoed around the whole manor, Bloody younglings, where was their sense. They irked him to a huge extent by foolishly heading off into a battle, which they stand no chance of winning if they did not work together. Headstrong fools. Mia had been sat in the kitchen, unloading and reloading her gun out of boredom, so at least this had provided her with a little amusement. Then out of the corner of her eye she saw Kelsea, moving swiftly towards the room where Demetrius was shouting at the younglings. Moments later, there was a large amount of scrambling and masses of younglings scrabbled out of the door and too the farthest point of the mansion in which they could reach. This caused Mia to smirk a little, which was on enhanced as she saw Kelsea rap on the door where Demetrius still sat. What on earth was she playing at? Did she truly have so little sense? Mia did not even believe her to be capable of such a stupid action, but yet there she went entering the room.
Now this was an opportunity, which Mia could hardly pass up, to see and maybe help cause cutting down one whom after her years should be sensible. One of the elders, were to be shot down so callously. Now Kelsea may have seventy odd years on her, but she clearly had not matured in this time. This was why Lycans should not recruit so rashly, sure they had the numbers, but the majority of their ranks were to young when blooded and you could hardly took one who looked so young too seriously. Sliding off her stool, she stood up and stowed her gun back into its holster. Making her way swiftly to the door, he knew that if they were paying attention they would realise she was there. Well at least Demetrius would do. Then she heard Kelsea talk about training the younglings, which would be fair enough, if she wasn’t so rash at least. I mean she just entered a room to address the leader, when he was harsh at the best of times, never mind after he has just given half of his ranks a complete dress-down. The timing was a little shabby. Attempting to laugh at her foolishness she put on a vague cold smirk instead. Entering the room silently, she stopped where Demetrius could see her but was behind Kelsea where she would not be noticed, before she began. “And why do you think Demetrius would entrust you with such a task? You are hardly the best fighter sweetie, and you do not exactly assess situations.” And then moving her hands to indicate the entire room, “Which you have just demonstrated by this situation.” Shooting her a brief warning smirk, She then moved forwards encircling the younger looking Lycan, eyeing her up and down. “Anyway, you neither look old enough or serious enough to take control of others. Do you truly think they would take one such as yourself seriously?” She sneered, running the tip of her tongue along the point of her incisor as she did so.
Completely her encircling of Kelsea, she sauntered towards Demetrius who still sat in his deep chair. Walking around the back of the chair she moved her long nailed fingers through his hair, in a mocking manner to Kelsea. She may be the eldest of the two, but she certainly did not behave like it.

An air of better than thou flowed from Kelsea wherever she went, many of the Lycans were the same, better than you and this caused strife in the ranks. Not to mention gave Demetrius one more reason to be irksome. Sometimes he wondered why he even bothered with half of them, though as she spoke, a cruel smirk filled the Lycans face. "You do not know that." He spoke in a cold tone, "I, on the other hand, know most of the younglings will die young. They are too reckless, even if I trained them they will always think they are a cut above the vampires, when they are not." He raised an eyebrow when she said she had an idea and gave a malice like laugh, "This ought to be good..." His voice dripping with sarcasm as he leant further back into his chair and folded his arms neatly over his chest. "Well, out with it then. And make it fast."
It was true Kelsea was one of he first bitten, and by Demetrius himself no less. Though because he had taken her blood in him, and had given his to her, he knew instantly what she was like. He knew she liked to have her way with the younger lycans, and he knew that she was rash on more than one occasion, many a time Demetrius had had to tell her to take a step back and look at the bigger picture, he had trained Kelsea, but he had not taught her everything and even she still had a lot to learn. He had blooded Kelsea at an early age for one reason, she was easy on the eyes. Demetrius at that point had been sick of looking at people that made him gag and so mercylessly he had taken Kelsea's life from her and replaced it with this. He did often wonder whether it was a good idea, but no matter it was done.
He could smell another lycan outside. Though for the life of him he couldnt pinpoint who it was. Well, he couldnt be expected to remeber every Lycan could he? As she came in, a wave of sarcasm hit Demetrius. Now this was a pleasant change, someone who reminded himself of himself as she walked with the same air of attitude Demetrius did. "What is your name, Lycan?" He asked from his chair as he could see her stood behind Kelsea, though she didnt answer straight off and began to spout at Kelsea, which made Demetrius smile. A once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Lycan leaser smile, but this unknown Lycan had managed it. Not taking his eyes off her until she moved behind him, at which point his gaze returned to Kelsea, about to say something, until he felt talon like claws on his head, massaging their way through his hair, Demetrius' eyes slid closed as the Lycan inside him seemed to enjoy the feel of her nails scratching his head. It was pleasantly relaxing. His hand moved up to where hers was and grasped it, tugging it down with a force that would have made her buckle over the chair, it was strange for Demetrius to touch anyone, let alone allow anyone to touch him. Though with how much force he pulled her, depended on her own strength, he had tugged her in a way that would have made her, if caught unexpectidly, fall over the chair and actually land on him, something he knew many of the females wanted, to be able to sit in his lap and act like his pet. But if she was expecting it, she would have only bent over the back of the chair, her head next to his.
"Pushing the fact aside that it is true you do not have much fighting experiance, Kelsea." He began, "I entrust the Lycan younglings to myself, and myself only." Demetrius rarely trusted anyone, though there was the odd occasion, like now, when he could be somewhat playful. This Lycan seemed to have calmed him down somewhat to the point where he wasnt as harsh as he would have been usually on Kelsea, which was lucky for her really. "It is true Kelsea, I blooded you at a very early age and most of the young lycans wont listen to you as they see you about their age because of their looks." Smirking he added, "Most only want to get in your pants. And in the aspect of your looks I do not blame them, but how would they concentrate on training if they are only thinking about that?" Looking across to the Lycan beside him, before looking back at Kelsea, "As I said, I trust them only to myself." Afterall, who better to train them, than himself?

Mia had not disclosed her name to Demetrius when he had asked her for it, because she was currently more interested in cutting Kelsea down, and if she had stopped to respond to him then it would have ruined the entire thing. It would have been Demetrius that then had the chance to give her a dressing down also, which would have made her look foolish infront of Kelsea and the whole thing would have been blown. Thankfully he had remained silent and allowed her to continue spouting off at the girl. And Mia almost thought she had seen the beginnings of a smile before she had fully drawn her attentions to Kelsea. But she must have been mistaken.
As she continued to run her fingers through his hair, his head bobbed ever so slightly forward. Torn between puzzlement and wanting to smile, which of course she refused to show a hint of either in her expression. Whilst she was more bothered about hiding her expression, his hand suddenly grabbed hers, pulling her down with such force, she tried to steady herself, but being caught so unawares she could not manage it in time. Mia flew off the back of the chair, landing upon his lap, with a small thud. Beginning to feel a little embarrassed which she still attempted to hide with her steely gaze. She would have rather been able to stop herself falling forward; it would have made her look a lot stronger and more efficient as a Lycan. But then again it was Demetrius that had pulled her onto his lap after all, and she was no match for his severe strength. Though this option was...interesting, to say the least. It was a little daft she felt to sit their fighting her embarrassment upon his lap. So she turned to face a small smile tugging at the corner of her mouth. “I am Mia, Mia Marcella Locklyn.” And offering him her hand, she continued “At your service.”
Mia turned her attentions to Kelsea as Demetrius did, still perched on his lap. She smirked at Kelsea as he began to rip into her, he agreed with her that Kelsea had no real fighting experience, which made her fairly proud. And she did not even have to show this to Kelsea, because she knew how this would effect her anyway, and looking back up at Demetrius, before looking back at Kelsea, she realised that his expression was enough to break her anyway. Though he had a lighter tone, the sarcasm in his voice limited to ever such a small amount. Perhaps she had affected him in a good way. But either way, it made her feel alot safer seen as she was the one perched on his lap precariously. And then he began to comment on her looks and how that the younglings would only want to get into her pants, therefore sharing her quarters was hardly the best idea. Mind you she was classed as a flirt by many of a clan, and so it was very true. However Mia could help wonder whether she would consider this as a snide remark or take it as a compliment. Then Demetrius looked at her once again, and she could not help but allow a little smirk to appear. Though she agreed fully with all of his remarks, it was true none were better to train than himself. After all he was there leader and the strongest by far. Unlike the Vampires and their generals, they train the younglings rather than Alexandria herself. That only weakened their clan. But at the same time at least the vampire were not utterly reckless unlike their younglings.
