This is to let you lot know what Holiday signifies what. If you have any suggestions for different Holidays, PM me.
Halloween/All Hallows Eve.
The date the war began. 31st October, 1214 later came to be known as Halloween or All Hallows Eve. This is a day the Vampires truly remember what Demetrius did and what he caused their clans and what he would eventually do the world. On top of this, since Humans dress up for this Holiday, it is the only time of the year that Vampires can go out all Vamp Faced and not have anyone look twice at them. Humans will just think that it is a really good costume.
Bonfire Night
Is a night fuelled by competition. It has always been a tradition ever since the war broke out. Vampires and Lycans come together to pit their strengths against each other in battles. Though they do not fight to the death. The main event begins with Alexandria, Silas and Ranvier, facing off with Demetrius and two choice Lycans. Once the main event is over, Alexandria will then choose a Vampire from her clan, to face off with a Lycan from Demetrius clan. Each Vampire and Lycan get pitted against each other in a match of strength, speed and intelligence.
Christmas
A day of Celebration for the Malkavians and Section 13. They, being more Human than the Vampires and Lycans celebrate the old tradition with the Vampires and Lycans agreeing to leave them alone for this one day. Give presents, receive presents, get drunk, and debate whether Santa Claus exists or not.
New Year
A day and night of peace for Vampires, Lycans, Malkavians and Section 13. New Year is a celebration for all those who survived the war for the past year, but it is also a sad day in rememberance for all those who died, humans, vampires, lycans, malkavians and section 13 members alike. Its an unusual day, as even Vampires and Lycans could meet together and be in total peace with one another. Fighting is highly frowned upon on this Holiday, and anyone who does will face severe consequences from the leaders of each group.
