His howl was unmistakable. You couldn't miss it or misplace it if you had known him for as long as Alexandria had, and even back when they fought alongside eachother, his howl was known to send chills down your spine. Though this time, his howl had a lot more than usual in it, it wasn't only menacing, but it was full of annoyance, but not at the Vampires, no this time his annoyance was directed at his younglings. His howl and his sudden appearance had thankfully thrown the Vampires off their guard, giving the younglings time to react and not giving Alexandria or Ranvier enough time to act upon his sudden appearance. Yes, it was true Lycans were more stupid than Vampires, but they had more speed and power on their side. Well, the younglings would have done if they had trained more. Right now Demetrius thought a rat could outrun them.
His tongue flicked out of his mouth, licking the blood from around the edges, blood that belonged to Antonia. Barking in a very odd kind of way, the young Lycans which remained retreated. He was watching Alexandria with a lot of interest. Her face was contorting and giving Demetrius exactly what he wanted. He knew the hatred that was welling up inside her, he could smell it. His mouth turned up in a smile and he shook his fur, honestly, hatred never smelt so good. He loved it, especially when it was coming off a Vampire and being directed at him.
What was the point in talking to him? He couldnt answer in his Lycan form. He could shift to his more Human looking one and be put at a slight disadvantage than what he would be. But where was the fun in that? Now, here was where it began. When she ran at him, he stood on his hind legs and opened his paws as she ran right into him, their bodies colliding with eachother, knocking Demetrius off his paws and sending him backwards, skirting across the rooftops on his back, but he had wrapped his paws around her and now had her pinned to him. With a fierce howl, he used his body to push her off him and in one quick fluid moment, also thrust his paw out, whether his claws connected with the front of her torso or not, he didnt know because now his sights were focused on Ranvier. "You really do not want to piss me off anymore" He thought as the idiot went after his babies.
He morphed back into his human form and pounced over onto the roof Ranvier was. He, being the Lycan Leader, retained a lot of his speed, strength and stamina even in his Human form so he wasnt put at really much of a disadvantage. Grabbing the scruff of Ranvier's neck, he threw him away from his babies before he could inflict any more damage on them. "As a matter of fact Batboy, I do mind." He stood infront of his Lycans as his silver eyes glared down at Ranvier. Pointing to his Lycans he said, "Manor, now. I shall deal with you lot later." With that, the remaining Younglings scampered off, leaving Demetrius alone with both Alexandria and Ranvier. "Now, you're in a bit of a predicament. On your left hand you have me, and what might happen if you leave Alexandria alone with me. On your right hand you have a very injured Vampire down on the pavement, my Lycans will have to pass her to get home and I cant say whether or not they will stop for a snack on the way." Smirking he added, "My my my, what would Silas do to you if he came home and found what had happened to his little girl?"
