The young brunette Vampire jumped effortlessly over the tops of the buildings, landing and doing a forward roll to break her fall. Antonia was only 243 so she was considered a baby of the Clan, she didnt mind. She had the freedom to do whatever she liked so long as she didnt put any of the clansmen in danger and as long as she was careful. Antonia often went for walks at night, following the paths she knew but always staying on her guard. She stuck to the shadows on the tops of the tall buildings as best she could and moved quickly, but quietly. She was cloaked in dark skin tight pants, black boots, a black vest top and a black long coat. The cold didnt bother her so much anymore, it used to back when she was Human, if there was even a slight chill in the air, Antonia used to hug herself tight and shiver. Though now she had learnt to ignore it and get on with it.
The moon was high in the sky and it cast a silvery glow wherever the light could reach, as her blue eyes looked upon the silver orb she realised it was slightly larger than normal. Though this did not concern her, there were no Lycans about, at least not that her senses could tell at this moment in time. She had grown up in this town, she always said that there were bad things in this City but her parents never believed her. Now she knew that everything her mother had father said couldnt possibly be real was real. It wasnt new to her anymore, she had over two hundred years of getting used to it, though there was still much she had to learn yet Alexandria had been too busy of late to sit down and teach them like she used to, which left Antonia to figure it out on her own.
As she made a running jump to the next building, something caught her eye as she landed. A shadow that moved swiftly behind one of the water coolers. She narrowed her blue eyes as she stood there, her eyes fixed on the cooler not too far from her. Toni's hands instinctivly drew her guns from the holsters on her side, a dagger was in a sheath on the top of her left thigh and on her right was a small, but handy penknife. She moved a little to the left, she had been stood near the edge previously and that made her an open target, though she didnt want to be caught in a corner either. The Vampire focused on the water cooler, whoever was behind it had not come out yet.
"The fun is over," She said coldly, "Come out so I can see you."

Ranvier had been sent by Alexandria to keep an eye on some of the vampire clan, their numbers were running low due to the blood thirsty battle which had been raging now for many a year. The aim was to make sure that they were always aware of their surroundings and less likely to get caught out. Times were becoming desperate now, they had been a thriving culture before. But now they were being picked off by both the Lycans and the Malkavians. Also they had a slight disadvantage in the form of the sun, a third enemy to contend with. Though due to his age and lengthened terms of exposure over his vast life Ranvier had gained the ability to be in the sun for short spaces of time. Though the young ones still could not remotely manage it.
Ranvier had been tailing Miss Cassell since her leaving the mansion, nothing escaped his notice, especially not when it had been his place of residence for the past 3875 years. Antonia was very agile, with no issues with any of her jumps to and from neighbouring buildings. Which was of course to be expected, she may only be a baby but she had been trained enough to know more than the basics. If she had not grasped the concepts of scaling buildings swiftly and silently by now she hardly warranted the vampire name.
After watching and following Antonia avidly for all of half an hour, it was time for phase two. Neither Lycans nor Malkavians are as agile or swift and silent as a vampire, infact quite the opposite. And so this would make it relatively easy to deceive her. Picking up speed, he shot ahead of her, silently at first. However once he had past her by a relatively large margin, he doubled back though alot louder than was normal. Jumping behind a large water cooler, no more than 15 yards away from her. Stopping abruptly as soon as he stopped behind it. Vampires have a heightened sense of hearing and so it was no difficult for him to distinguish the sound of her removing her guns from the holders.
Antonia was clearly a rather good vampire, well she had survived so far at least, but she had been aware of her surroundings, to a good extent. He heard her shift to her left, away from the edge. “Good girl” he though to himself, she was thinking at least.
Her voice then echoed from behind the other side of the water cooler. Smirking, he moved slightly out of the cover of the water cooler, he was still hidden partly in the shadow, but she would now be able to see a glint of his eyes and the glisten of his fangs if she was fully awares. Leaving a few moments silence. This would determine how hasty she was into action. Most would consider this a rash action on his behalf, but it was not the case, he would have to be a simpleton if he could not be swift enough to avoid a bullet when he was watching his assailant. “Lower your weapon kid, its me.” His cool voice uttered, it was not said loudly but it carried to her. And with this her stepped out of the shadows with a slight smile.

She had taken her lessons seriously, not like many other young ones who shall remain nameless due to their abrupt deaths. Tsk, it was their own fault they never paid attention and watched their own backs. This could have been a test for all she knew, but whoever was hiding behind that water cooler was obviously more stealthy than Antonia was, though this did not surprise her, Antonia was quite clumsy sometimes and it didnt take much for people to over step her. For years she had been constantly over shadowed by Vampires who werent necessarily better than she was, but by Vampires who wanted to be in the limelight more than she did. Antonia wasnt one who was going to push others aside to get to the top, they were in a war, Vampires were a team. It was about time they started to act like one.
Of course she thought, who did he think she was some brainless Lycan? Cassell didnt have to squint her eyes to see who it was, the bright blue eyes and the fangs, he was one of her own kind and she knew who he was, but she cocked her guns just in case and held them up, pointing at him infront of her. She wasnt about to take any chances, even if it was with another Vampire, he had been tailing her and given no reason to which for now made him a little suspicious in her eyes. Her own blue eyes remained narrowed as she stared into the blue eyes of Ranvier, he was one of the top Vampires and Antonia would not stand a chance against him, but she would rather die trying, than die and not try to defend herself if need be. Though it soon became apparent it didnt. She lowered her weapons, uncocked them and placed them back into their holsters.
"I apologize Ranvier" Cassell said with a small nod of her head, "Though you can never be too careful anymore, you know that."
A howl in the distance signalled the Lycans were on the move, she darted to the edge of the roof and looked down. At that moment she could not see anything, though she could smell strongly the foul smell of Lycan fur. Without warning, something shot up from the shadows below, teeth bared and snarling with ice silver eyes. Pulling her guns back out of her holsters, she fired two clean shots, one hit the Lycan between its eyes the other in its chest. The howls were becoming louder and closer now, and the smell of Lycan fur becoming unbearably stronger, looking from where she was to the building she had jumped from, she saw three Lycans lined up. Suddenly she was glad Ranvier had followed her.
"I guess now would not be a good time to tell you," Antonia began, "But I do not like heights very much"

Stood at her window, watching over the vampire grounds was a thing Alexandria did almost every night, unless she was out patrolling them or investigating that is. Rayne could hear the howls of the Lycans coming from the east of where she was facing. They were too close to home for her liking, and so she had decided to go out and investigate. As of recent, she had left the training in the hands of her two best men Silas and Ranvier, both the best trained in combat and both the first two Alexandria had bitten herself. She had been wandering for years, in search of the correct humans to turn into vampires, as it was an important thing, and important roles they would be leading for the rest of their lives.
Turning away from the window, she reloaded her guns and brought a few rounds of silver bullets with her. Wasting no time, she stormed out of her room and down the stairs to the front door, awaiting a fellow vampire to open and close the door behind her. Safety first. That was the rule. The stench of Lycans was unbearable, and she couldn’ t help but think they were wanting a little battle. She was glad she had sent Ranvier to keep a close eye on a few of the young ones while Silas was training the rest of them. Silas was a great warrior, as was Ranvier, but Silas was fierce in every single way possible. Rayne knew if she was caught off guard and died, Ranvier and Silas would make great co-leaders. They had truly earnt her trust, respect, and knowledge they would look after the clan just as well as she tried. Of course, you always got the odd young vampire thinking they could deal with things, and a few had died from being ignorant to what they were dealing with. It was with the loss of a few vampires that Alexandria had cracked down on it, and had begun to stop them going out until the basics had been completed, or with a stronger, older vampire to keep them on their toes.
The smell was becoming unbearable, the dirty ratty Lycans were nearer than she thought, she could smell Ranvier closeby, and an unfamiliar scent, yet still vampire. She had yet to get used to that new vampire smell and to process it. Running swiftly but silently, she spotted Antonia peering over the ledge, and the hair of Ranvier. She saw a handful of Lycans ready to pounce, and her eyes began to glow bright blue, her fangs protruding. Pulling out her thigh dagger, she ran at the next lycan as she heard gunshots and saw the lycan collapse. Heading for a darker lycan she tackled it to the floor on it’s back and hissed out of anger before stabbing it in the chest a number of times. Jumping off it, she stood up and jumped up onto the roof to be greeted by Ranvier. “I'm such a party pooper” she smirked at her right hand man before Looking over to Antonia and nodding to let her know she had her back. This one had a lot of potential. She was sure that Ranvier and Antonia could handle it, but she enjoyed getting one over on the Lycans.

Ranvier watched her expression change, she recognised him, the features in her face relaxed slightly, whether she meant to allow this to show or not, he most certainly noticed. He observed her as she removed her weapons from sight again, holstering them for the last time of the night, unless of course they did a little target practise. Lessons with the younglings had pretty much ceased now, only whatever Silas could manage, because himself and Alexandria had been spending most of their time in the library, coming up with strategies and general plans of attack. You could hardly be unprepared at times such as these, and with them at a general disadvantage; they had to do all in their power to be far ahead both Lycans and Malkavians in both body and mind. Which wasn’t hard to be honest.
“Not at all kid, I would have been most annoyed at you if you had not been fully awares. You did what was expected, for if I was a Lycan...Well I shall not insult your intelligence, you know precisely what my thoughts are.” Ranvier replied with a reciprocal nod of the head.
Ranvier had been just about to mention as to why he had been tailing her, when a loud howl filled the surroundings, of the previously quiet night. A foulest stench is in the air, the fur of Lycans was most definitely not one of the nicest thing to smell. It was enough to make your toes curl, and nostrils flare. Crouching down slightly, into a leaping position if needs be, his hands shot to the sides of his legs where his shruikens were attached. Grabbing two in each hand ready. The smell got steadily thicker they were closing in, a noise sounded to the edge of the building, and moments later, Antonia was there guns out: dispatching of the first Lycan of the night.
Though now his attention was snapped back to where the join to the next building was, a long row of Lycans lined the edge. Jaws wide as they emitted still louder howls, drool hanging loosely on their lips. Then Antonia returned to his side. Ranvier could not help but grin at her remark, and responded “Think of it this way...” and he nodded toward the mass of Lycans before continuing. “At least you can land properly, it’ll hurt them a hell of a lot more when they fall in a few moments.” A knew faint smell reached his nostrils, the stench of Lycan maybe overbearing, but a Vampires sense of smell is as good as you can get, you can smell anything from miles away. The smell of Alexandria drifted his way, he had grown accustom to her scent now, after all her had spent the past 3874 years in her company. Moments later she appeared to their far right of the building. He smirked at her, stating relatively loudly, “Not at all, you could always do with the exercise!” He chuckled dryly. Preparing himself to duck backward slightly incase she threw something at him.
Allowing a small smile to flick across his lips again, he instantaneously shot all four of the shruikens in his hands, in the direction of the Lycans. They shot through the air swiftly, and within seconds had slit the throats of four of the Lycans, of which the bodies fell limply off the roof and hit the hard streets below with a loud echoing thud. “Now, lets begin.” And with that he withdrew his sword from the sheath hanging on his side and darted forward into the mass of Lycans. Ranvier always had been one for close combat.

"It does not shake the fact I still no not like heights, heaven only knows why I insist--" A lycan lunged at her and she was unable to finish her sentance as it wrestled her to the ground. Toni hooked her legs around the beast waist, squeezing as hard as she could the beast threw its head back and let out a long and painful howl, she managed to untangle her arms, bringing them around the things neck and twisting it fast and violently. It landed in a crumpled mass on her, she stood up when she heard Alexandria's voice, expecting Silas to be with her but her Sire was nowhere to be seen. "--Why I come up here." She finished to Ravier.
"Where is Silas, Rayne?" She asked knowing Silas never passed up the opporitunity for a fight with the Lycans as the old Vampire was ruthless and Toni loved watching that guy fight, she tried to pick up as much as she could from him but he moved too fast for her to keep up with half the time. Though she didnt have time to wait for an answer as more Lycans were making their way steadily onto the rooftops, doing a running jump, swinging around a pole that was used for a satellite dish on top of the roof, she landed a kick into a Lycans mouth, hearing it plummet to the ground 60 floors below them. Antonia had no problem dealing with a few Lycans on her own, but she would have been sent back to the Manor in little pieces if she was alone here tonight, though she couldnt help feeling like she wanted Silas with her. Though Ranvier was the next best thing as he was close to Silas and she knew he would protect her just as much as her sire would.
Antonia found herself back to back with Alexandria for a moment, a smile tugging on her bronzed features. Which was something Vampires mocked her for, a tanned Vampire was nothing something you came across that often but it wasnt her fault was it! With a fast jump, Antonia jumped forward, pulling out her knife and jumping onto a Lycans back. She wrestled with it for a moment before slicing its throat. Jumping off with a smile, she felt like there was some form of party going on now, "How many was that?" She asked herself. Pulling out her guns she unloaded a good few rounds into a few oncoming lycans, discaring the empty rounds before adding new ones in a swift moment. Yes, Silas had trained her well, and yet for all the time she spent with him she didnt know him very well.
"Ranvier! Coming behind you!" She yelled as a warning.
Antonia heard a growl coming from somewhere to her left and she quickly looked beside her to see a Lycan baring its teeth. Pulling out her gun she went to fire a shot, only the Lycan got to her first and the shot went in Ranvier's direction instead, she didnt know if it had missed or hit him. The Lycan had jumped on her, though at the same time it was pushing the young vampire back with such ferosity it reminded her of her and her brothers fights when she was human, and when her brother was still alive. The Lycan pushed her to the edge of the building, she could feel the small wall behind her legs, though the Lycan let go and gave her a forceful push backwards and over the edge. "Arghh!" She let out a piercing scream as she fell, though she flung out her hand blindly and caught a jutting brick. Though it did not feel safe as she dangled there, four floors from the roof, fifty six from the bottom...
Now Antonia was scared.

The battle was heating up already, they were vastly outnumbered, however they did have two of the three most experienced Vampires present as well as one of the most advanced younglings. The latter was of course down to Silas, for personal reasons, which Ranvier only occasionally got sparse glimpses of. Though even though he did not wish to show preferential treatment, he did to a certain degree. Though it had most definitely paid off, otherwise she would be dead already.
Ranvier watched as Antonia and Alexandria then set about killing the still increasing number of Lycans, watching their hair flailing behind them as they shot into action. Though this moment passed briefly as something moved from behind him. Ranvier twirled swiftly. Sword still in his hand, outstretching his hand more so as he twirled, he felt it come into contact and heard a ripping sound, as he looked up, he saw the shocked expression of a merciless Lycan, eyes a flare with hatred and revenge. They seemed to be fed by such things in their clan. Sure Vampires were merciless killers when they wanted to be, but it was not them that had wanted to enter this war and claim stakes upon the land. Before the life left this Lycan, he slashed out at Ranvier, his claws connected in his left upper arm, causing minor injuries. There was less force behind it than usual. And then Ranvier watched and the upper body of the Lycan tore away from the legs. His sword had cut clean through the Lycan. They really did have their weaknesses. The light in his eyes dimmed, as the bottom half fell limp. The other half flew straight off the side of the building, what a nice clean up job that would be.
“How you both doing?” Ranvier shouted above the howls of the Lycans, brushing of his hands, which were now covered in fresh blood from his previous victim. Then rather than a response he heard Antonia shout at him, though it was not the response to his question that he had expected to hear. Ranvier dropped to the floor quickly, and just in time it would appear, as a large clawed furry stench-ridden hand appeared where his head had been milliseconds before. This was typical of a Lycan they never struck you head on, they would always strike from behind, now if that did not show their cowardice and inferiority then Ranvier did not know what could.
As he reached the floor, he stuck his left leg out behind and resting on his hands, he curled round, swiping the beast’s legs away from him. He fell to the floor with a large crash and a howl. “Thanks Toni!” He muttered. “I have grown fond of my head, these past few millennia.” Ranvier lurched backwards, so he was out of reaching distance of the Lycan, he would be up again in a few seconds. And rightly so too, he had to put up a fight or he was hardly worth the fuss. A few gunshots were heard behind him and to his left. Generally this would not have bothered him, but the whistling at which they emitted was getting closer too him. Thinking quickly, he dropped to the floor again as the Lycan began to stand up, a few more seconds and the bullets would be upon them. The Lycan was not rising quickly enough. Who trained these beasts? They were useless. Ranvier shot out his lower legs, connecting with the Lycans shins again taking them from underneath him. But this time Ranvier did not stop there, he did not intend on just flooring this Lycan all evening. Quick as a flash, he stuck his feet underneath the buckling Lycan, taking the brunt of his weight. But he was a seriously strong Vampire, even for one of his age, but physically he was only 24, and so this was Childs play. Kicking upwards, he shot the Lycan upwards into the air, moments later; blood spurted from its chest. The bullet had embedded itself directly in the left hand side of his chest, puncturing two of his major organs, and shattering part of his rib cage. “Bye Bye Beastie.” Ranvier chuckled dryly. Sure this could be someone he once knew, but they brought it upon them selves, Ranvier was only dishing out their comeuppance.
Then all of a sudden, all his thoughts ceased, a blood curdling scream, shattered the still night. It most definitely did not belong to Alexandria, and in that case there was only one person it could be, “Antonia!” Ranvier roared. Time seemed to stand still, Silas was away on business, and Ranvier knew this. One of his duties as it were, whenever it was required of him was to protect Antonia, if Silas could not. Ranvier knew how much Silas considered this youngling a surrogate daughter. They shared many traits. Ranvier could not fail, the one closest to a brother he had ever had.
Twisting where he stood to where the glass-shattering scream had originated, he saw a lone Lycan standing, starring over the edge of the towering building. She must have fallen. Ranvier had to keep a cool head. It would do him no favours, to do anything rash. And so Ranvier decided upon the first combination that entered his mind. Pushing down on his feet, he leaped into the air, pulling into a continuous somersault. He was upon the Lycan in seconds, he had not even turned around, to busy looking at the remains of his victim no doubt. Ranvier lunged upon him, short knife in hand, his feet came into contact with the tops of the Lycans shoulder, and he rammed the blade down to the top of the skull, until only the hilt was left protruding from the monsters head. Yanking it lose once again, with very little effort he arched it round, and with a swift moved sliced it through the top of its head. Blood and brains showered the top of the building. Ranvier pushed down upon its shoulders so it knees buckled and it toppled off the edge of the building. Back flipping into the air again, he landed into a crouch. But not for long, he got to his full height instantly. Walking to the edge, to watch his adversary fall with a large resounding thud upon the pavement below. As it did so something else caught his eye, part way down the building, scrabbling and clinging on to a small part of the building exterior, hung Antonia. Fear was etched upon her face. But still she was alive.
This was going to be difficult, if she fell, she would most definitely injure herself hugely, she may be a vampire, but she is still rather high up, and also is scared, when someone so young is in a blind panic. Nothing good can come from the circumstance. Assessing the situation, he looked around; there was a building about fifteen feet away. No fire escapes to speak of however. He could not forgive himself if he were to let Silas down, however cold the grumpy old buggar may be. This was going to hurt.
Tensing his legs, he pushed off the side of the building, pushing himself in the direction of the opposite one; he was upon it in seconds, thank god for vampire speed. Ranvier’s legs connected with the opposite building, bending his legs to lessen the impact, he clung with his nails for a second, before pushing off again, though shooting himself, slightly upwards, he had descended eight floors. Antonia had only fallen about six. He moved upward through the air, still calculating how he was to pull this off. Outstretching his arms arm wide, his feet connected with the wall, he had a little grip on his shoes but not much, and he grabbed hold of Antonia around the waist, and shouted. “Let go!” as he did so. Ranvier could not stay still for long or he would lose his momentum, and so all he could do was hope that Antonia was not too overcome by fear, to become too blinking useless. Tensing his legs, he kicked off again, the added weight was not too much of a handicap, but it was not the easiest thing in the world, He could feel blood trickling down the top of his left arm, from where the Lycan he had cut in half, had caught him. Though this was not exactly a pressing matter. Ranvier had got enough height on the jump to reach the roof of the neighbouring building. Placing Antonia down on the roof, he did not have time to catch his breath, only shout hurried instructions. “Catch your breath, and then return to the fight. You’re needed, Alexandria cannot...” Ranvier’s words were cut short, as something connected with his back and cut deep, Ranvier gritted his teeth through the pain, to stop himself yelling, it took the air straight out of him. And from the force of the shunt, he lost his short sword from its pocket and with a loud clatter it fell to the floor of the roof. Warm blood trickled down his back, underneath his leather.

This night was sure turning into a bloodbath. From what Alexandria could hear, Ranvier was happily slicing through Lycans like cheese, and Antonia was having her own fair share of fun. Smirking as a Lycan bounded at her, she turned herself around and twisted, pulling her katana sword from her back as she did, and created a circle with it around her as the Lycan ran into the blade, slicing it's arms clean off. Looking at her fresh kill, she stood over it as it howled in pain on the floor. "Bad puppy", she whispered, giving a tut, before plunging the sword through the Lycan's mouth, through to its brain. The squelch was awesome to hear and the crack of the back of the skull being broken open was even better. Two nil to Alexandria!
Turning quickly to check on Ranvier and Antonia, she flashed him a cheeky smile before he disappeared. Looking over to Antonia who gave a shriek of despair, she soon became distracted by another Lycan jumping onto her, knocking her over. The beast had knocked her over hard and caused her to bang the back of her head on the floor. Grumbling, she struggled to keep the snapping jaws at arm’s length for a moment before kicking it in the stomach hard enough to flip it over her head and reverse the position so she was now on top. With her knees under the werewolf’s armpits, she pulled out her thigh dagger, stabbing it hard in the centre of its neck. Blood squirted from the fresh stab wound and Rayne stood up, licked the dagger clean and placed it back into her thigh holder before pulling out her gun and shooting it central into it’s skull. “Fleabag” she simply spat at it. It was where it belonged now for jumping on her from behind. How angry Demetrius would be when he found how many of his clan were killed tonight.
Turning herself quickly, she could see only Ranvier peering over the edge of the building. She became worried at where Antonia was, but she could still smell her presence, and she was still alive. “Get her, I’ll sort it out up here” she shouted to Ranvier as a pack of Lycans came springing from the darkness, teeth and claws bared and heading straight to tear Alexandria limb from limb. Alexandria’s fangs protruded more so, and she bared her teeth right back at the Lycans. Waiting for the right moment, she pulled out two her shurikens and threw them at the two lycans closest to her. Hitting them on their weakest point in their hind legs, she pulled out her guns with liquid silver bullets in and fired at the heads of the other two Lycans who were nearing her quicker. One dropped instantly to the floor, but the other who got shot in the chest, carried on running, even though blood was clogging it’s fur. Alexandria just stood and waited for it to run into her. She looked back to see she was at the edge of the building. Looking back she had mere seconds to wait for the hairy beastie. Placing her guns back into her holders, she dropped down and clung onto the edge of the building with one hand and watched as the stupid pea-sized brained idiot fell to his own death. Watching as it landed in a crumpled heap on the floor, she smirked and shook her head at how stupid Lycans could be. The crunch was rather pleasant and every time she heard the sound, she had another one over on Demetrius. In her mind, he’d sent them to their death in the first place when he started this damn war.
Pulling herself back up with ease, she landed back on the roof silently before rushing over to the other side and peering over. She caught the sound of more howls coming from over the way and figured she’d have enough time to help her team mates out. Keeping eye over things, she watches as the pair returned to the roof. Seeing Ranvier’s wound, she gasped a little as the blood trickled from it.
“Are you okay Antonia?” she asked concerned, placing a friendly hand on her upper arm. The girl didn’t seem hurt, but the shock of plunging 60 stories probably got her adrenaline pumping. Looking back to Ranvier, she saw a swift shadow connect with Ranvier's back, and instinct took over, she threw her thigh blade at the sneaky beast and it fell off the side of the building in shock. She didn't bother checking if it was dead, she knew it would be. Turning back to Ranvier, she walked over to him and she looked at his wound and gently touched near it. The howls were getting nearer and she hoped he would be okay to fight. If it wasn’t permanent, the healing process would take hold in the next 15 minutes or so for a wound that big. “Do you think you’ll be alright?” she asked concerned. She didn’t like the idea of loosing Ranvier, not that a wound to the back would be life threatening but she had grown very fond of him and he was a valuable asset to the clan. The howls had become louder and nearer and the smell of their damp rank fur was nearing. Pulling out both of her thigh daggers, she readied her stance in the middle of the roof. “Are you ready?” she grinned, waiting for the next wave of Lycan ambush.

She knew she could not hang on here much longer. The fall might not kill her, but she had not been trained enough to be able to land securely otherwise she wouldnt be fearing as much. The fall could indeed be the death of her, considering there was a lampost directly beneath her too. Antonia did the stupidest thing she could have done and looked down, as soon as she did, her head grew fuzzy and she became dizzy, Toni was very scared of heights, but being on the roof didnt bother her as she had solid ground beneath her feet, there was no ground here and the only thing she had to support her was a loose brick, which seemed to be straining underneath her weight.
Fear like none she had ever felt before overpowered her, and her arms were in pain now. She wanted Silas here, she would feel safe, even here in this position if she knew he was up on the roof, but apparently he was in Ireland on some form of trip. Silently she apologized to Silas for being so stupid, unaware that he had felt her fear and was now particularly angry with both her, and Ranvier. Antonia tried to console herself, saying if she fell she would be alright. Looking down again, she saw a pipe jutting out of the wall, at least if she fell she could try to grab hold of that, also, trying to ignore the Lycans at the bottom who were looking up at her almost tauntingly.
Antonia looked up intime to see a Lycan falling her way. She closed her eyes praying that it missed, she heard it whizz past, though its back paw caught the brick, lodging it free and causing Antonia to fall with it, plunging another 10 floors down before, thankfully, she caught the pipe, which bent due to her weight. She was trying to get a foothold in a hole in the wall, but she couldnt manage it and every move she made, the more the pipe bent. She let out a long and fearful sigh and looked up to see Ranvier looking back down at her. She would have waved sarcastically if she dared move a hand, but she didnt and the brunette closed her eyes and put her head back down. Breathing slowly and carefully, she didnt want to take the risk of any sudden movements making her fall the rest of the way down. In her mind, she pretended she could hear Silas talking to her whilst they were training, telling her of the different types of weapons. Though thinking of fighting wasnt helping, so instead she remembered him talking about the different places he had been, before she became a Vampire. It was something that stuck with her and it calmed her greatly to think of Silas' words.
Arms around her waist, Antonia's eyes shot open to see Ranvier behind her, "How--?" She began but his words cut her off. How was she supposed to let go without falling, what use was that? They would both plummet and then Alexandria would be left alone. Which was never a good thing. Antonia did as she was told though immediatly and let go of the piping, her arms clasping around Ranvier's neck, burying her head in his shoulder, she did not want to think about what could happen if they fell now, and she did not want to see the ground all that way down there. Though as she opened her when Ranvier put her down, she let her arms fall limply to her side, still visibly afraid of what had just happened, she was shaking. Her hands automatically rubbing the tops of her arms as though cold, but in truth just frightened. Thats all she was, a frightened little girl who was going to get them all killed.
"Ranvier!" Antonia cried, though instead of grabbing the nearest weapon to take the beast down, Antonia crumpled to the floor next to Ranvier, seconds later, the beast fell away and Alexandria joined them. Antonia had her hands pressed firmly on Ranvier's wound, trying to pressurise the blood flow and make it stop. "Dont you dare die on me now!" Toni spoke softly, though an evident quiver in her voice. She looked upto Alexandria with dumbstruck blue eyes, "Oh yeah," She replied, "Brilliant. Silas is not here, I fell, and Ranviers badly hurt." Her tone was reeking with sarcasm, but she couldnt help it, it was how Antonia dealt with fear. "Im bloody brilliant." Antonia removed her hands once she felt the blood stop flowing and stood up, backing away from them at the same time. "He has a big gaping hole in his back," Antonia thought despite herself, "But I'm sure he's brilliant too." You could tell with Antonia who she spent most of her time with that was for sure. Antonia didnt meet Alexandria's gaze, in a way she couldnt believe they were still fighting instead of cutting their losses and returning to the Manor. Wasnt this how she had said Demetrius was careless? Still, she wouldnt question the leader, it was not her place. "No!" Antonia screamed in her mind, but found herself unsheathing her gun as the other one was on the pavement sixty floors below them now. Probably shattered too, which was a shame, she liked these guns.

Ranvier gasped for air as he fell forward onto the cold stone surface of the roof, he had not been winded for a long while, not often did he get struck from behind completely unawares. However the shock of believing he had failed Silas and that he had allowed Antonia to fall to her death had struck him hard that he had been paying very little attention to his senses. If he had been fully awares previously then he would have sensed Antonia’s presence still. Ranvier hoped that Silas was happy; because he was not present Ranvier had been caught off guard by his protégée and was now putting up with more pain than he had had to put up with for decades. The warm blood still trickled down his back underneath his leathers, nice and squelchie that would be for the following battle!
Ranvier noticed it grow suddenly darker as a shadow passed over him, he knew it was not Antonia however because simultaneously he heard her call out to him, but collapse in a heap by his side. Was it not him that was injured here? Taking a large intake of breath he opened an eye to see Alex throw her dagger at the stench ridden Lycan that had struck him down moments before. Ranvier heard the beast topple off the building, scrabbling to attempt to cling to the edge of the building as he did so. However there was a small clink of metal, the hilt of the dagger protruding from his chest has caught the edge of the building and a slight ripping noise resounded. Ranvier wished the beast luck coming back to attack them with that likely punctured lung.
Ranvier bared his fangs and snarled a little as he attempted to get to his knees, making the healing the process kick in, clenching his fists, as he felt the very fibres of his tissues and skin cells re-stitch themselves. He felt Alex’s soft touch, gingerly pressing around the large gash on the small of his back, though her hand was then quickly substituted by Antonia’s. Who did not then remove her hand until the flow of blood had ceased.
Ranvier let out a short laugh, “Of course, i’m quite fine. Since when would a gash to the back be the death of someone as amazing as myself.” He said with a small smile, though then pretended to be slightly affronted. “Silas? Silas! Do you both really have such little faith in me? We have won many a battle without him, and I do not intend to start needing him as of now.” Then winking at them both to show his was only joking with them, “He only ever puts a damper on things anyway, i’m the lord of the parties!” Then he felt the final layer of tissues in his back mend themselves, only the layer of skin, though that mattered not. “Bring it on beasties!” Ranvier declared loudly, so any Lycans within a two-mile radius would here him. The poor people living in the buildings below them, though the thought of them banging on windows and complaining about the noise made him laugh, their expressions would be priceless.
Skirting the roof of the building, he searched for his short knife, he did not enjoy parting from his weapons, they had lasted him many battles and he did not intend on losing them now. Spotting it, he drew upon it quickly, attempting not to bend his back too much if he could help it, he did not wish to hinder the healing process anymore than need be. Moving it around in his left hand to get a good grip on it he then withdrew his long sword, and moving back to the centre of the building to stand along side Alex and Antonia. Placing his feet carefully into an artful stance. Then the battle began again, the sound of Lycans scaling the building on all sides, the scent of their disgusting fur becoming overbearing again. Others jumping from the neighbouring building. “However drinks the most gets the blood in tonight!” Ranvier declared joyfully. As their first adversary came into view. There was to be no manners now, none of that ladies first nonsense, he has allowed that to happen earlier.
Ranvier took off, launching himself at the flea-bitten beast. Sticking the short knife through the front of his head, and the longer of the two knifes through his stomach, a mixture of both shock and anger mingled in the beats face. How slow they all were, and Ranvier was supposedly the injured of the party. Withdrawing his weapons sharply. He brought up his right leg and kicked the limp Lycan off the roof, watching as it collided with a few of its fellows on its way down.
Smiling Ranvier then jumped back to his starting position by Alex and Toni. “Your go now girls.” He declared gleefully.

It felt awkward for her to be touching Ranvier in front of a young one. Alex had grown fond of Ranvier, and even come to have feelings for him. This, he probably did not know, and Alexandria wanted to keep it that way. She was sure it was wrong for her to do so, and she knew it would be seen as favouritism. At least she knew where she stood with Ranvier, unlike that overgrown hairball Demetrius. Even the sheer memory of his name made her blood boil. Yum, boiling blood. How she just wanted to be the one to kill him and put an end to this insignificant war of his that he had created. She gritted her teeth for a moment as she heard the howling from over the hills of the little baby puppies. How pathetic they were, sending a few measly little flea bitten, dirty old mops to fight against them. Alexandria could tell that they had smelt the new blood of Antonia, and wanted her. After all it would mean one over on the Vampires, and it would show them they were not doing well enough to keep the newbie’s on track. This wasn’t the case. They hadn’t suspected Ranvier to be keeping an eye on her, and neither did they expect Alexandria to turn up out of the blue.
Looking back to Ranvier, her eyes seeming neon blue in the darkness that surrounded them, she smirked a little, revealing her fangs. “Well it’s good to see your not letting the team down Ran” She said, carrying out the smirk before looking over to Antonia and giving her another friendly smile. “Do you think you’re ready to fight again?” she asked concerned yet sternly. If the girl was frightened, it would make the Lycans worse, and she would be better off going back to the mansion. “Silas had trained you well, let’s do this for him yeah?” she said, standing to the side of her, as Ranvier stood on the other. Looking over to Ranvier, she couldn’t help but laugh. “Lord of the parties! Don’t make me laugh!” she said in her seemingly posh end of London accent. She gave a short fit of laughter. “Your boring compared to us girls” she nudged Antonia and winked at her before readying her stance again. She made heart of the situation and did a little dance before shaking her bum near Ranvier jokingly. Just as she went back into her spot, the lycans were heard scrambling onto the building and attacked Ranvier first, before he declared it was there go. On their side, a handful of Lycans scrambled towards them and snarled. Alex ran at them, kicking one in the snout and off the edge of the building before coming to a halt herself right on the last inch of the the roof. No time to look at her kill now, she pulled out her Katana sword from her back and turned around, jumping onto the back of the nearest one and plunging her Katana deep within the small of it’s back, breaking the nerves and paralysing it instantly. It howled in pain and Alexandria gave a quick swift turn in it’s back to make sure it was definitely separated. Now it’s back legs were paralysed, it’s power was gone, except for the snapping jaws of course. Before it had a chance to however, she stepped on the back of it’s neck, forcing it to the floor, and grabbed hold of its top jaw and ripped it off over it’s head. Blood gargled in the lower half, and the tongue was unseen now due to the amount of blood. It poured over the lower jaw and onto the roof. Now face to face with another Lycan, she threw the jaw half into the lycans face to distract it and as it opened its mouth to snarl, it was soon filled with the nice taste of sharp metal. Her Katana sword had plunged deep into the depths of the bottomless pit of a mouth and through the back of its head. Alexandria gave the lycan a look of what could only be described as a ‘bitch’ look before pulling the katana out again and kicking the Lycan in the face upwards sending it to fly over her head and off the side of the building. She could hear another scrambling up the building behind her, and so just as it reached the top, she spun around, and half of the lycan fell, while the other half rested on the edge of the rooftop, blood splattering from the fatal wound it had just received onto the floor below. The sheer height of the building and the amount of blood gave the blood reason to seem louder than usual when it splashed onto the ground below.
Crouching with her leg spread for balance, she narrowed her eyes over the rooftops and saw the moon behind the trees. Howls were still coming, and it made her wonder how many more werewolves their leader was sending straight to their deaths, foolish man.

"It's not that we do not have faith in you, Ranvier." Toni said as she roundkicked a Lycan smack in its jaw. "Its just I feel safer with him around, besides, the manor is less dreary without him around and I find it kind of strange." Of course, Toni missed Silas considering he was her sire so it was to be expected. though in a fight there was nobody she would rather have on her side. Of course, she didnt tell Ranvier this, even though he was an age old Vampire he was still a guy, and guys prides are damaged a lot easier then people these days think.
With Ranvier having a little fun of his own, Toni was able to stand back to the sidelins, after her little fall before, fighting more on a rooftop is not exactly how she planned on having a good night. Her fangs were showing as he mouth hung slack, she watched Ranvier carefully, knowing that he needed time to heal, she still didnt understand why Alexandria wasnt saying they should break ranks and head back. Hearing his statement, Antonia shuddered, "I would rather not drink Lycan blood if you do not mind."
Antonia looked at Alex when she seemed to adress her, asking if she was able to fight. Truth, she was able, but she just didnt want to. The more this war dragged on the more she saw it as pointless. Neither side were getting anywhere, their ranks both fell and grew so in total, this loss wouldnt be bad to Demetrius, though he would probably bust some heads for it. Though when she heard Silas' name, Antonia knew, out of everyone, he was the one he could not let down. He was counting on her to be able to look after herself. Scared, yes. Immobalised, no. "I can fight," Toni smiled, pulling her gun out of her holster, "I was trained to get back up after a fall, no matter how big it is."
Before Antonia had chance to look upon the situation, she already had three Lycans running at her. Running towards them, she jumped, landed a kick in one of their jaws, smashed a bullet between anothers eyes. Upon landing, she slid to knock the third off balance. Placing her now empty gun on the floor, she took her knives out and began to slash away. Though hearing a rather haughty and annoyed howl in the distance that made her blood run colder than usual, even the Lycans had stopped fighting. Retreating back to Alexandria, she said, "Was that...?" She wasnt sure, but the way the howl had come across it had a very leader like tone. Antonia just prayed Demetrius was not making his way over here, Toni would not stand a chance if he showed up to the carnage.

Her prayer was not answered.
There had been talk around the manor about some younglings being outside alone without the guidence and protection of an older Lycan. Demetrius hadnt bothered listening to it at first, he knew the younglings liked to see what Demetrius would believe and what he wouldnt, so he had been resting in his room. Until he heard the howls outside and he knew instantly they were telling the truth.
Ordering Kane and Alexandrou to make sure nobody else left the manor, Demetrius changed into his Lycan form and headed out. Howling into the night, though not a normal Lycan howl. A unusal ferocious howl, an angry one as his paws skirted over the mud and the white Lycan raced his way over to the sounds of the howls. Sniffing the air he sensed three Vampires. How can three beat so many? Though, if they didnt kill these fools, Demetrius would. Idiotic Lycans thinking they can take on the world!
Rushing through the trees, he reached the skirts of the town. Following his nose, he came upon the Lycans bodies. Some crushed which meant this was a rooftop fight. Looking up, they werent near here, they had moved on. Demetrius darted down a back alley and soon was joined by a few of the Lycans who seemed to have stayed out of the skirmish. Snapping at their skin to show he was not best pleased, the lycan whimpered but followed him up the scale of the building, soon he was on the top of the roof.
Howling, Demetrius was soon surrounded by younglings. The way he was growling, even the young Lycans were cowering. His eyes skirted to the neighbouring building, where he saw the problem. Alexandria and Ranvier. Just as he feared, no wonder they took out so many, they had two of the best. Least Silas wasnt here, that was one less worry. But who was the girl, she had the Lycan smell all over her, she had done some damage, Oh Demetrius was going to make them pay dearly. His eyes landing on the young female, a smirk playing on his Wolf lips, though to an onlooker, it would look more like a snarl.
Giving one last howl, him, and the younglings that were with him jumped the gap between the roof, some getting hit and being killed, but Demetrius and some of them landed on their feet. Seeing the young girl going to give a final blow to one of his children, Demetrius gave off a deafening howl and jumped on her, sinking his teeth into her shoulder. He felt her blood seeping into his mouth. Disgusting. Vampire blood was the most revolting tasting thing he knew. He could feel her knees buckling, though this was happening fast, to him it was going slowly. One final move, sinking his claws into her back, he stood on his hind legs, teeth still in her shoulder, he turned her around so Ranvier and Alexandria could see the light slowly leaving her eyes. His silver eyes almost laughing at the two Vampires. Taking his mouth off her, he spat out all the blood and threw her over the edge of the building. It wasnt enough to kill her, he could tell when he bit her how strong she was, but it was enough to render her useless for a good long while. Her wounds were fatal.
Now, looking upon the two remaining, as though just daring them to attack him. Giving a snarl to his Lycans in a Thats how you do it! Sort of way. His eyes kept on the Vampires. Waiting for their next move.

The area was becoming more heavy with the smell and atmosphere of the Lycans. With every moved the trio made, it seemed there were more Lycans lined up to take the places of the ones who had fallen by the wayside due to their blades. Lycan after Lycan came and Alexandria began to wonder if they had planned this for a while. That was why they needed that seer, the power that girl would hold and share with the clan would be expendible. She would be the most valuable catch anyone would of made. Of course, Silas wouldn’t be the most obvious choice to go and win somebody over, his usual harsh exterior and violent ways, not to mention him always looking like a vampire, would be enough to scare anyone, but Alex knew if she sent Ranvier then the whole thing would seem like a joke. Not to blame Ranvier for the way he was or anything, but times like this caused for serious measures.
Standing back after slicing through a lycans Achilles heels, the thing dropped to the floor, crying in pain, and funnily enough started changing back to human. Alexandria was confused by this and just watched him for a few seconds before plunging her katana sword through his head and giving it a short sharp turn, rendering him disabled and more importantly dead.
As she pulled the blade from the bone, a powerful howl was heard, and this stopped Alex in her tracks. It was meaningful, it was angry, and it wanted her. It was Demetrius. Looking around to see where Ranvier and Antonia were, she managed to see Antonia get swept off the side of the building by a white light. A lycan ran from nowhere and swiped at Alexandria, making a long wide tear in her arm. Gritting her teeth, she kicked the lycan off the building in the head with so much force he would of been dead before he even hit the ground. Grasping her arm, she concentrated to try and heal it quicker, but it wasn’t working as quick as she hoped.
“Ranvier, help her and get back to the mansion!” Alex shouted over the noise of the howls. Now Alexandria was furious, and instantaneously her face contorted, her usual dark blue eyes changed to neon blue within a blink, and her fangs protruded from her mouth. Staring Demetrius in the face, she just wanted to kill him there and then. Her adrenaline was pumping, and for fighting so long before hand, many vampires would be exhausted, but not Alexandria, it just got her more riled. Bending slightly lower for balance, her stance was that of a ninja, and in her leather and katana sword, she could be just that. Sneering at the lycan form in front of her, she hissed.
“You should know better by now Lycan” all formalities of names lost on her. She zoomed in on Demetrius with her vision and could only see him. Her teeth bared, she could imagine just ripping him limb from limb, the blood gushing from his mouth, not to mention every gash she had made in his body. Snarling, she didn’t take her eyes off him, and she realised it was then that the other lycans had retreated. Of course, Rayne could of retreated back to the mansion with the others, but him showing up got her so mad, that her face was almost unrecognisable.
Pausing for a moment, she ran at him and lunged...

Ranvier could not help but find it a little amusing at how easily they had been despatching of the Lycans this evening, it was almost as if Demetrius was now just blooding them and sending them out to their deaths the following day. They did not seem remotely trained; mind you Lycans are ridiculously unintelligible beasts, so no doubt they forgot whatever they had just been taught within minutes. However this was becoming ridiculous, fair enough it was making good experience for Toni, but it was an unnecessary loss all the same. Though at this rate they would be able to head back to the manor in a few minutes, with little harm done to their party. However if Ranvier and Alex had not been about this evening, they would have definitely lost one of their ranks. Ranvier did not even attempt to hide his smile at Toni’s retort, Silas hardly made it a less dreary place, though he did act as a catalyst for some of the more amusing events at the manor, after all no one could get him riled up like Ranvier could. “A less dreary manor, is much more preferable, I assure you... you should have tried living with the old fart in a small cave... now that was depressing!” Ranvier said with a raised eyebrow, watching as she kicked away another Lycan.
Ranvier jerked slightly at Alex’s words, it was a lost notion on him, you’re always ready to fight. You have to be. “Of course she’s ready, she’s a red blooded Vampire! Takes more than a little tumble to startle us, eh Toni?” he said with a smile as he nudged her lightly in the ribs. Anywho Silas would never live it down if she had run from a battle, he would have been truly ashamed if she answered no and left the battle scene at that moment. He shot her a small smile, to show that it would be all right with him and Alex around, and there was no reason to be worried. How wrong he was.
Then drawing his attention to Alex as she suddenly made a kind of strangled laughter sound, directed at his statement of being the lord of the parties, which of course was true, it was not worthy of the name party until Ranvier Flynn graced it with his presence. “You girls more fun than myself, it appears you have lost all your sense my dear, for that is the furthest from the truth i have known you to stray!” Then watching as she stuck her derriere in his direction, he jokingly hissed and brought his hands to his eyes dramatically as if to protect them, and he declared loudly. “Woah, watch where you stick that thing, do you wish to blind the whole of Manchester!” And then moving one of his hands away from his eyes he winked cheekily and then quickly poked his tongue out at her.
Ranvier chuckled loudly at how offended Toni had been at the concept of drinking Lycan blood, it tickled him no end. In the early days, they had to take small amounts of blood from their Lycan chums to keep themselves alive, when it was hard times, and they could not drink from humans, as it was not safe to do so. To think that was how it used to be, and now look at them. Murdering each other in vast numbers just because Demetrius decided to go on a power trip. Could he really not see the expanse of trouble he had caused for them all in his doing so. Returning from his deep thoughts, in the middle of a battle it was perhaps not the best idea in the world. He watched as Alex and Toni set upon their victims, Alex causing much more mess than necessary but thats half the fun, nothing is as good if you refuse to get dirty. Puddles of blood gathered on the rooftop, at least someone was likely to fall on that, a good bit of slapstick never hurt from time to time. Ranvier scoured the rooftop, making sure he had their backs, there was no immediate danger, not too many Lycans were on their roof, they were on neighbouring roofs or were attempting to scale this one. If they had attacked them all in one go, it would not have been to hard to have overwhelmed them just with sheer numbers, but they had never been blessed with half a brain cell, never mind a full fledged brain.
Then, if it was even possible, more chaos broke out. An all to familiar howl filled the air, and most unfortunately it seemed as if he was to be joining them for this evenings entertainment. All of the beings atop the roof stopped in their tracks, Toni backed up towards him along with Alex. The bright white Lycan Leader appeared on top of the next building, even in his Lycan from you could see the rage that was contorted upon his features, this would have made Ranvier smile but given the predicament they were in, now was not the time. But this made it clear that these younglings had not been sent her by his orders, and began to feel for those Lycans they had not killed tonight, cause they were in for one hell of a night, if Demetrius had anything to say on the matter. Which he would.
Ranvier watched as Demetrius changed his focus to Toni, and even he had not been able to predict the next thing that happened, and was helpless to stop it, a blur of white, flashed across his vision, grabbing hold of her, and digging his jaws deep into her shoulder, mockingly facing them, and then flinging her straight off the building. Ranvier didn’t do so much as turn his head, he stayed planted to the ground glaring at Toni’s assailant. Though using his senses to make sure that she was still alive, he felt her pain as she hit the floor hard, she is was is serious pain, they were fatal wounds for any unfortunate, but she was still alive.
Looking at Alex, he could see her millennia’s of hatred coming to the front of her mind, her sheer determination to kill him. This was not Ranvier’s fight, and the last thing he planned to do was get involved with those two, the only one strong enough to kill either of them was each other. Ranvier tightened his grip on his sword, which still sat gleaming in blood in his hand. Though keeping his expression cool calm and collected of course, he waited on Alex for her orders. Though he knew exactly what she would say, and he was not going to abide by them. Sure she had placed him in a predicament, he has a duty to the younglings to protect them keep them from harm and help his kind, and he truly wanted to go help Toni and take care of her, but on the other hand his duty truly lay to Alex, he had known her for the best part of these past 4000 years, she had brought him into this lifestyle, and been his first and only real family. Also if he left, Lycans did not have a tendency to stick by their words, and the younglings would jump in and outnumber her. Now Alex was strong, but against Demetrius and countless others even she stood little chance. It was times like this when Ranvier could not help shouting at himself “Why the hell are we not telepathic!!” At least then he could ask someone to come and collect poor Antonia. “Sorry Alex, but not today, he smiled at her Toni can cope for now. However...” Ranvier looked towards Demetrius and smirked, “You know not to trust a Lycan, he will set his useless minions on you when you are by yourself, and that is not a chance i am willing to take. So if anyone wants me I shall be on that roof,” He said lightly pointing to the opposite roof which the fight had begun on and the younglings were gathering, “Yes, over there. Killing your minions, if you don’t mind of course Demetri?” Ranvier stated sweetly but raised his eyebrows cheekily. And with that he jumped across the gap onto the other roof and set upon the Dogs. His short and long swords slicing through there flesh like they were cheese, kicking a row over so they fell to their deaths, the pleasant sounding of cracking as the metal struck their bones, marvellous howls of pain, oh if he could only see Demetrius’ face.
